If we get Keeler do we get Phil Longo? If so count me in.

Well Beau Baldwin is a P5 OC now so he is a double whammy on your criteria. Does that vault him to number 1? Lol

I thought of that after finishing typing...too lazy to edit. Lol

I like him but worry about a guy who spent his whole career in north west, coming south to recruit.

Does he do interviews with a toothpick in his mouth?

The guy can flat out coach and is an offensive genius. He is in charge of an offense at Cal who doesn’t have all that much talent and is scoring at will.

Also it could be a benefit to not be form here. No Louisiana coaches would have a preconceived ideas of who he is. He could build his own relationships from scratch.

Could he not surround himself with coaches from the area that can recruit? What did holtz do to come in and recruit like they have been able to?

Holtz has southern ties. Worked at South Florida and east carolina.

Not saying it can't work, just helps to have southern ties. Having someone on staff would be key in my book.

I also forgot Holtz had Jabar Juluke on staff. He was a well respected New Orleans high school coach.
