Lets not forget about Jerrod Jackson. This kid emerged when Malone got injured and made plays and extended drives. I was almost as excited for him as I was for Nunez. He will make the depth at WR very interesting.

I didn't start this thread but OK. I guess Turbine didn't like the intermingling of Nunez and Jackson talk. Sorry. I'll stay in my lane.
This completely atrocious defense is completely destroying what should be a massive showcasing of some extremely good offensive talent. How this happened... is beyond me.
He was really gutting it out that last game-tying drive. Looked like he was wanting to come out from taking some shots and just being in the hurry up offense, but kept going and made key catches.
And look what the result was. Double coverage on Jackson on the lay play, leaving Bradley wide open.
......Back in the days of the veer, an overplit by a WR basically locked the cb on man coverage,,,,,,all the wr had to do was run a 50 yard streak route to accomplish his goal.......if you Subbed the wr every play the cb would be exhausted, and an eazy td could be had on a long pass.....we have so much talent at receiver positions now, we can wear DBS
Out .....another good thing for the offense!!! Oh and thanks for a great game by Jackson!!!
That is something that Art Briles kinda did at Baylor, except it was half a field not a single DB. If you watched any of their plays, the backside of the formations wouldn't really do much. Essentially take a play off then that personnel would shift over to the side that was just attacked. But they were fresh, this creating mismatches. Chess level tactics.
Ragin' Cajuns receiver Jarrod Jackson had a career night in UL's 56-50 double-overtime loss to ULM last Saturday.
Third-year sophomore Jarrod Jackson had seven catches for 113 yards and a touchdown for UL against ULM last Saturday.
