That wasn't what you said. Don't change the convo.

You want to take a stab at how many special teams players we've had transfer or quit in the past 5 years? You know, the group that works with Hudspeth the most...

Is he willing to take a pay cut, because if not, then we need to send him packing. A million dollar head coach is supposed to be getting better results in his 7th season.
Not sure a coach has taken, or been offered a pay cut for poor performance. That would mean the school is willing to accept a lower production level, nothing an AD wants on a resume.

Yet you were selling the narrative that he wasn't going to play football anymore and was going home. When all along many on here said he was leaving to play somewhere else and it has a lot to do with locker room issues.

If all of this talk boils down to we recruited extremely poor on defense... that's pretty pathetic. I see no excuse for recruiting layer upon layer... year after year... with redshirts and all... and ending up with untalented defensive starters on balance... in the south. It makes no sense to me.

I quickly countey19 junior college players on the 99 man roster. About one in five. I'm sure I missed a few, but that number is hard to justify. Clearly missing evaluations on high school talent, or simply not able to get them in.

Hud is the highest paid coach in the Sunbelt, CUSA, MAC, 9 of the 11 coaches in the MWC and higher than 3 other coaches in th AAC.

Since we're talking about players leaving let me bring this up. How many different offensive and defensive coordinators have we gone through in 7 years? Is that normal to go through so many in 7 years?

High turnover makes consistency extremely hard.

In my opinion (IMO) this has led to Hud exerting undue influence over his previously successful coordinators.

Exactly, for some on here the sky is falling on every single issue. I guess when HUD finally does leave, the, I told you so will begin, but you told me so many times I quit listening. It's bound to happen one day right.

You quit listening because you spent all of the time _______ ____ ___ while we were telling you what was going on.

I never said I would support keeping him with a pay cut.

I was addressing a statement by another poster that calling for him to be fired is getting silly. My response is that it would be silly to suggest Hud has lived up to what he is being paid to do.
