I don't see how anyone can claim the players aren't behind him and each other after last night. They could have quit so easily and they didn't. Our biggest issue to me is lack of talent/depth on defense. Give this offense a mediocre defense and we win a lot of games. We scored 43 with a backup QB.

I understand as fans, we have to pay to play. I have no problem with that. I have a problem with a mediocre football program, at best. The product Hud has delivered so far this year and the last two years are embarrassing for the money he is paid.
You're a little slow. I dropped my football season tickets and tailgate spot before this year.

Give my aunt cojones and she'd be my uncle.

The defense being atrocious is the result of a poor job by the head coach.

Don't see where I said different, being not good at football and having a mutiny in the lockeroom are two different things. I'd be much more concerned with lockeroom problems because talent can't overcome that. Talent can fix our problem. I saw a team that didn't quit but is void of enough talent on the defensive side of the ball.

Bye boy bye!
There is talk, but nothing else. I don't see this seriously discussed until the end of the season and I think we will have him one more year in order to give our AD the time to find money. JMO

The players are playing for themselves. Per an offensive player, players refuse to communicate with Hud in many instances and only communicate through position coaches.

The only coach on staff with any amount of respect from the team is Will Hall.

When I asked why, player responded "because he's real. He's himself. Coach hasnt brainwashed him..... yet."

One players opinion. A lockeroom that plays for themselves isn't divided is it? A coaches best teams are the ones that play for each other. I ran into a group of HUD's ex-players from UNA a couple years ago at southal...everyone one of them said hud is a players coach, he was the best coach they ever played for and an even better man. This narrative has been pushed about mass exodus, mutiny, players leavening etc and the fact is the ones who left haven't played a single practice snap anywhere else, the ones still here are playing for each other and we lack talent on defense. That's it. Hud has coaching deficiencies for sure but the wider this witch hunt gets, the sillier getting rid of him looks. If you think Will Hall is the only coach on this staff who gets respect, you are misinformed.

Silly to get rid of him?

Is he willing to take a pay cut, because if not, then we need to send him packing. A million dollar head coach is supposed to be getting better results in his 7th season.

    Coutts?

We shouldn't be asking Hud to take a pay cut. We gave him the contract to maintain and improve his past performance. If he's not worth the current contract he needs to exit.

I can certainly see not giving a million dollar contract to an unproven coach. If Hud has established he's not worth a million, he's not worth a dollar.

Me too. That comment doesn't make any sense. JD may have been reluctant to play aggressively due to injury and Hud was clumsy describing that???

Not silly at all to get rid of him, I'm for it. Just think there is a way to go about it. You want to get rid of him? Stop being CNN and concentrate on his actual issues. Don't crucify the man every time he farts...it's a little bit boy that cried wolf to me.
