And I think had seen on here complaints on the shoddy signage on and around the APC: for those who have not seen, it's looking damn good now.

They are painting the exterior of Cajun Field.
Actually that is the best way to paint a structure like that. Spraying would involve a shroud to avoid getting overspray on every car and building in the area. It won't take as long as you think. They have a good bit of it done already
The foundations are poured.
Also of note: the press release stated that although this portion will cost $48 million, we got approval for $105 million, to finish the project. By that, I think they mean the demolition and reconstruction of Cajun Village, once this part is completed.
They are making a lot of progess, lots of framing going on, but it is hard to get pics now. But there were some new renderings posted in the article about the project in the last "La Louisiane"
Construction moving right along....the look and feel of that section of campus is really changing.
From the Lewis St entrance: 1st pic is the area where the old Red Zone used to be. This is also the section that will also contain retail space, but NOT for a new Red Zone. I think they are looking to bring in a business that will bring another revenue stream....a Starbucks, no doubt.
The 2nd pic is the section that will border the coulee.
