One would think that Hud's decision is due to that he thinks an injured Davis is better than a healthy Nunez or Ray. Of course depending on the severity of the injury, I agree that an injured Davis is better than a healthy Ray. I would hope that is not the same for Nunez. I would have like to see what he could bring in the 4th quarter.
Hud said they considered playing Nunez on Saturday when Davis was battling injury but Jordan was fighting through it & wanted to "finish it"

That's insane.
Everybody watching that game on TV could see plain as day that the injury was the reason we lost the momentum and the game. He could not run effectively and he threw pics, because of the injury. He should have been pulled after the first pick in the second half. We still had a legit shot at that moment.
Letting him play through makes no sense. You are risking season ending injury and effectively sealed our defeat.
JD is now listed as probable vs UL-PIS and Moanroe.
The bigger issue is the following are listed as questionable, we are going to need all of these guys:
Taboris Lee
Ryheem Malone
TJ Posey
Travis Crawford
As far as UL-Almost is concerned the have 3 players listed as questionable:
RB Austin Vaughn--Has not played all season
OL Keaton Baggs--Says ACL issue, doubt that is questionable, ACL issue would be out vs UL
WR RJ Turner--Lower Body--He had 2 catches for 57 yards vs Memphis did not play vs USM
