    Mel Didier, a former head baseball coach and athletic director at then-USL from 1981-82 and would serve as a longtime Major League Baseball executive, died Sunday night at his home in Phoenix. He was 90.

    .......Lived in the same hood as Coach and T D Phillips....both helped UL in the days....also coach's brother did a great job at Nichols!!!

  3. People Former players gather to celebrate Mel Didier

    They may have played for him in separate sports and different generations but the men that Mel Didier once called “his boys,” all drew similar conclusions.
