Tempo Changes Everything
It worked for Tulsa last night, but when we tried to run fast tempo last year, our offense couldnt pull it off. Countless false starts by the OL for example
Everything is magnified with up tempo.
Losing 42 to 66 should not be any more or less upsetting than getting beat 22-14
No, there is a huuggggeee difference between giving up 66 versus giving up 22
Percentage wise there is no difference.
Up tempo changes "everything" and everything is a trade off.
The defense in an up tempo game has no time to plan or regroup when the offense is scoring fast.
It's identically cumulative, but more upsetting when its a new experience.
We were not running an up tempo offense and still scored 42. I don't see how them slowing down on offense cuts our offensive production by two thirds.
Turbine's sunshine pumping machine is like a piece of German engineering. Fine precision tolerances, close cut helical gearing, a quiet efficient diesel powerplant. Pumping bull____ like their is no tomorrow.
We lost by 24 in a game we scored 42. A ridiculous, palindromic ___ kicking regardless of "tempo".
How about we lost because they were better?
