I've got a deployment coming up. I'm embarrassed by the amateurism shown by our coaching staff. Hudspeth has been embarrassing this university since the ACT scandal. He should have been fired with cause then.

Now he is pressuring players to play when they are injured. He is chasing his tail and just like a dumbass dog will never figure out that he's his own worst enemy.

If that is the case, public relations fallout would be very negative. If he was severely hurt, some coaches could lose their jobs over this.

Would be brutal for UL football if that's truly the case.

Would make zero sense to push one of your top 11 defenders to play hurt and potentially jeopardize losing him the rest of the season. With the coaches on the hot seat, why would they shoot themselves in the foot by blackballing a top player on an already weak defense??

This is not a defense of the staff or anything. Just thinking out loud.

A player leaving because of playing time. After the second game. That story in itself doesn't add up.

    WHAT?
It makes 1000% sense if you've been told that performing well against the AAC is a high priority and your boss is sitting in the stands. Maybe Maggard is putting the heat on him. He coached desperate the entire game. Chased points, onside kick way to early, trick plays...

    Makes 10000% sense.

Ok. You beat an AAC team, but once again finish no where near the top of SBC bc your only decent players are hurt long term. What does that get him? A pass?

I don't think you guys understand subtlety.

Hudspeth was told to perform well against AAC programs, or else. It wasn't a suggestion, it was stone cold bottom line TOLD to him.

Can anyone get access to an official injury report from week 1 to week 2?
