I think the realistic goal unfortunately for the program at this point and time is to make it thru a season and offseason without a major black eye. Everything else is a win

Scott Farmer is not the only one he has transferred to another department. His reputation with the UL System Board was at stake, he had no choice but to remove Scott Farmer from the position of Athletic Director. He had every reason to terminate him for cause and didn't do it. Doc has done much for the university and deserves the credit for his decisions. But for those that know him well and had dealings with him, he is very much a political animal.
I repeat, This thread is ridiculous at this point in the season. It only hurts our morale and we have not even played a conference game. I remember Ark State started 0-5 and won the durn Sunbelt that year. Sometimes the L stands for learn. Lets give our coach and team the best shot possible by showing our support "En Masse". If we only win 3 games this year, I will help sponsor a fund raiser for the buyout. I believe our new offense gives us a chance to win every week.

I don't know the answer to the question as to what his decision would be were the funds available to make a staff change. I suspect he would consider political situations in such a decision. I also acknowledge there may be people that would be willing to find a buyout. I just don't know who those are. I also know how much the oil slump continues to ravage the local economy and that shows no signs of changing soon. That makes me skeptical there are many people who can put up the needed dollars. I also think that would prevent much of an attendance increase were a change made. Again this is a different situation as to the ? Of should a change be made. If the dollar are available, another losing season and it normally would be strongly considered.
Well I have a question for everybody. If there was no buyout at all. Would you want hud gone at the end of the year??
Every time a head coach is hired for one of the sports we spend time talking about, you can plan for that person to be here 7-12 years in just about every instance. The frustrating part is that the fans will usually want a change long before that. That keeps us uptight and unhappy. Scheduling, budget, recruiting, game time management, etc. Is there a way fans can become more satisfied?
