Since the end of the 2014 season....

    8-17 against FBS competition

Last non-conference FBS win was Nevada in NOLA to end the 2014 season.

But, none of that matters to Stevie P and Kevin Foote. As long as we compete in the SBC and get considered for 1 of the 1,123 bowl games, it's all good.

This is where your program ends up when all you care about is getting Bowl eligible, and this is why people like Stevie P and Kevin Foote do such a disservice to this program.

Not my boy. Just looking objectively. We won the game we were favored to win and lost the games we were expected to lose. This week we are favored to win. If we don't, the drumbeat to get a new coach will be even louder. And deservedly so.
My opinion of the season hasn't changed. We should win 6 or 7 games and go to a bowl with the offense we have. I have no inside info, but I doubt that gets "my boy" fired.

Hudspeth doesn't have a great (by our standards) defense to bail him out. ULM is a hot mess. So are we. If Davis isn't 90% or better his mechanics will break down and his throws will be all over the place. This is their super bowl and a perfect trap game for us.

We lose this game and we may not win another until Ga So.
The point is that Viator didn't exactly out coach anybody last year.

He took over a program with Zero talent last year. He has to start from somewhere. I'm also not a Viator fanboy. But he at least can coach. Our meathead can just lift weights and smile pretty.

I really don't believe you get a reading of a coach in a driving rainstorm. That was last year wasn't it?

Urban Myers isn't giving the Texas coach a pass because he's playing with mostly Charlie Strong recruited players. Are we expected to give Hud a pass on a trem that's 100% Hud recruited players?

Year 7 and the program is a total mess. He's not getting my vote to renew his contract. Why the hell do I want him around until his time plays out? That's just nuts both financially, and the good of the program.

Renewing the contract is not a factor until 2020. As far as staying around till then, I again ask who will write the check which is needed to buy him out. That is likely in the 2 million range. MAT says there are people willing to do it if things get bad enough. Personally i am skeptical of that in this economy. I also don't think we will get much of an attendance rebound with a change simply because the economy is much worse than most realize. I am not saying a change should not be made if improvement does not occur. That is a different deal than having to raise the money for a buyout.

Mike if you're not willing to renew, you shouldn't keep him. We'll lose more than two million in revenue streams by keeping him on.

At this point in time, the question is starting to be not what it will cost to buy out the contract, but how much will it save!

This. If attendance remains poor and/or gets worse, a move will have to be made. Cost-benefit.
