Not directed necessarily at you MAT, but there's alot of arm chair lawyering going on around here.

Just because a case can be stated for cause, doesn't mean that it will be accepted as such.

I'd imagine that you'll have to add some dollars to the defense fund for wrongful termination.

Just because a claim for wrongful termination may not in the end be meritorious, in my experience that's never prevented a litigant from raising it.

Think of this this way, if you were being paid a million per year and were terminated for "cause" (and thus being offered zero on your guaranteed buyout) you can't convince me you'd walk away from that without a fight.

Just being the devil's notary on all this.

It's foolish to think otherwise.

I think what we are seeing here is that Saunders actually ran the football program. First four years he was here 2011-2014 and we went 9-4 then downhill from there (record wise) with him no longer with the program.

I think that with the increase in pay Hud felt he had to do MORE to earn his pay, and started micromanaging to a greater extent.

I still am not sure if anyone can do much better without cheating. We have very little to offer a high caliber D1 football athlete other than playing time. Until we get out of the Sun Belch and into the AAC or comparable league any coach will be fighting an uphill battle.

I guess those programs were all cheating, right?
If the kids that these coaches are recruiting aren't buying what they're selling, who's fault is that?

Bustle took us from ashes and brought us back to a D1 football hud moved us further up .. However huds time has come and pass just like bustle its time to move on and hope the next coach can move the needle even further

A former Asst. Coach for Bear Bryant once told me something that I consider gospel...."If you have the talent to win and don't, it's your fault.....if you don't have the talent to win, it's your fault"....that it all....
