There is nothing positive about yesterdays game... We scored 42, and got thrashed by 24 pts. If there is anything good there, you tell me...also tell your Unicorn I said hello.

    say it slowly... 66-42.

Absolutely not writing off this year yet. Like many have posted, if we can get the defense to play poorly instead of nonexistent, we can win some games this year but next year's offense should be stellar. With the RBs running like they are and another year for JD. Good things

Really, I could care less if we win a couple of Sun Belt games, the program is a mess, some people just can't understand that.

    LOL. You crazy

The biggest issue I've seen from the defense the last two games is that the players are literally losing all of the 1-1 battles. Guys are just getting driven off the line and you can't make plays if you are getting posted on your back. I saw Jarvis Jeffries get pancaked time and time again by the Tulsa freaking TE who Jeffries likely outweighs and this is on short yardage situations and one of them at the goal line when they scored their second TD when you know they will run it. This defense is literally not physical enough and running this damned 3 man front against teams you know will run the ball is just lunacy.

Consulted with my unicorn and he couldn't even muster a rainbow fart for the outcome of yesterday's game.

The fact that some are hoping for the defense to go from atrocious to bad is akin to spray painting a turd gold and thinking it still won't be crap.

Hud is in year 7 of his tenure at UL. I expect more from the head coach and the product he is putting on the field. The lack of coaching and preparation is frustrating for fans and plays a part in why attendance is shrinking and why some have walked away altogether.

And fan support, donations etc will continue to shrink if we have another loosing season...and the last time I checked most programs rely on both to be successful.

UL scored 42, Tulsa's "average" last year.

Last year they passed for more than 3,000 yards, while 4 players had over 1,000 yards apiece during the 2016 season.

They lost 1 lineman and 1 QB.

I am not shocked they can score at will.

They lost all of their leading skill positions, stat wise. The only thing in tact is Tulsa's Oline.
