Louisiana Baseball Unveils Challenging 2018 Schedule

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is set to face a challenging schedule in 2018 that features 28 home contests, head coach Tony Robichaux announced on Thursday. The Ragin' Cajuns will face eight NCAA tournament participants from last season with 11 of the first 15 contests coming against teams that made the postseason in 2017.

Going to be a tough schedule indeed but I love it. Wright State is no slouch either...46-17 (19-5 Horizon) in 2016 and 38-21 (21-9 Horizon) last season winning series at Clemson. Glad we ended up getting to play South Alabama.

No, they will not be on our conference schedule this season so we scheduled them for OOC series.

I know last year was the "no excuses" year. But, this year from a scheduling standpoint and RPI potential, should be no excuses also. You have a great (albeit difficult) schedule and you host the conference tourney. Let's hope the tough slate makes grinders out of these guys again so they can make a run.
