He definitely played as I remember seeing him quite a few times. We also played guys I've never heard of but i don't think they recorded tackles either.

Middleton is in the participation list at the very bottom, so he played. He isn't listed with any tackles, but he did play.

Yeah, and the Northwestern starting qb went out with an injury when the game was still very close in the third. The necksters all agreed that was the turning point. But it's also beside the point.
