Many here suffer from Stockholm Syndrome!
I like how the two or three G5 schools that have success against the P5 are always brought up when this debate comes up. I believe AP State & Troy have histories of picking up P5 academic casualties, which is the biggest reason they have experienced their success.
Every fan base seems to think they have "the best facilities", yet they haven't been to another school. Facilities have been in an arms race and a few improvements just keeps you from falling too far behind.
Maybe UL needs to find another coach who has "connections" at an ACT testing center.
It could be worse UNLV was a 45 point favorite over Howard and they lost.
So, if this year is a complete dumpster fire, will HUD be gone or we ride the 3-8 orifice stretcher another year? What's the cost of stupidity tax we will have to pay? Facility races are of concern for the big P5 boys but for us it was bringing us out of he Stone Age into the present day.
Hudspeth has lost his mojo. He peaked three years ago and has regressed ever since. I think he's done as a head coach, but that won't stop him from banking another $3 mil or so from UL.
