I kinda feel sorry for Lucas, because he will be Hud's "flavor of the year fall guy" for this season.

How do you know he didn't? How do you know he doesn't preach it every day in practice? Every defensive coach out there wants their defense to "swarm". Your argument sounds like a petulant child. Let it go.

Because Hud finished Lucas' sentences at Sun Belt media day.

When you are running someone else's defense you don't think as fast as you would running your own design.

When you are running someone else's defense you don't teach it as well as you would running your own design.

Mentally speaking, implementation wise if the coach is a step behind and the players are a step behind you will be able to spot it a mile away on the scoreboard.
