We shall see. On one hand, I want to pop you with "we're going to kick your ___"... and on the other hand... I have no idea what to expect. I hope for all of the SLU fans attending the game, that you have safe travels and an enjoyable experience... and take the loss in stride. 😁

Speaking from both sides of that thong huh. What that saying "turn the other cheek"?

Our payroll, our following, our support, our roster and our expectations for this year and beyond, all support that outcome.

If that outcome does not occur, a new direction for this program will be under way. No offense to your guys, but this is not and should not be a fair fight.
I personally believe that we will win but there is no chance we go out and "destroy" these guys. That term is subjective as we can dominate an opponent and win by 14 or we can get a couple of big plays that work out in our favor and win by 28. I don't think we are good enough to give anybody on this schedule an ___ whooping, at least not at this point of the season. Perhaps if we got a couple of "Turnovers" that turned into scores we could stretch a lead but I just don't see any type of blowout.

I never turn the other cheek. They're each divine mirror images of the other. I always place them both on equal display, flexing and relaxing them either together or in perfectly shared alternating synchronicity.

Word is that we are masters of the turnover.

How many fans do you think will make the trip?

This game is a great barometer game. If we win convincingly, we 'll be happy. If by some chance we lose or barely escape, the natives will be circling huda wagon.

And really, that's the only stat that matters. I can't wait to see the turnover champion rings we get this year.

Hard to say. For a typical in-state conference game, we'll travel anywhere from a couple of hundred to Natchitoches, to 2-3k to Nicholls, depending on record, weather, etc. Somewhere in between is a safe bet. Considering Lafayette is an easy drive for our alumni base, and someone we haven't played in a long time, I think we'll have a pretty strong contingent, relative to what's typical for us.
