Thread: Greetings From Southeastern

  1. Default Re: Greetings From Southeastern

Well we took a knee in 2007 to not run up the score more than 38-17. And our soccer team beat y'all tonight so we are up 1-0 this year.

Considering Lafayette is an easy drive for our alumni base, and someone we haven't played in a long time, I think we'll have a pretty strong contingent, relative to what's typical for us.
But then you have to go thru Baton Rouge traffic. Good news tigers are out of town. Have safe travels

This is not 2007 and we don't field a soccer team. Maybe one day you can join the rest of us in the real world...

From this day forward, you take a knee and bow your head.

He's big. I don't want him to topple over trying to hold the bend. He has my permission to rest on his knee as he bows.

It's a different level of competition. SLU is slightly better than McNeese was, but even if we bring our C- game, we should beat this team with zero problems.
Again, I said the extent of which we win is subjective. We could control the game overall but win by 10 and I could be happy. Or, we could go out there get a couple big plays and win by 21 but I don't think this is going to be a game like Lamar a few years ago where it is over in 2 quarters. Like I said, I don't think this team is good enough to absolutely put an ___ whooping on anybody, particularly the offense.
