UL taking time to get it right with Cajuns mascot

I'm cool with the "Cajun Man".

West Virginia, Notre Dame, and Florida State have three of the most recognizable human mascots out there.

The question is will he look more like the early 90's Cajun Man or more like a Troy Landry with rubber boots.

Just imagine a Troy Landry type mascot in a miniature airboat running around the stadium. LOL!

We live in such a "P.C." climate, I don't think either of those would fly today.

IMO Turbine the Red Bull Gator is the way we should go, BUT he needs to be Kid Friendly! So a little less intimidating, Cajun/Creole type HAT , maybe some hip waders with his clawed feet popping out the boots, Louisiana across his chest, fleur-de-lis's patterned a cross his waders, Ragin Cajun's on his Tail Armor bumps, etc. what say you?
