he would still practice with the team for a year, and probably make the trip to baton rouge with the cuse so he could possibly steal signals and what not. its not about actually playing on the field, its the knowledge he has about lsu's offense.

If you want to suggest an out of state P5, this has merit. Otherwise, LSU does not fish in the same pond as the other in state schoolsjust as long as they don't sign with another state university.
Nothing to do with LSU's recruiting philosophy backfired on Curley. LSU skimping on coaches & facilities led to a mass exodus of the state's best players in the late 80's & 90's.This backfired in the Curley days
