Unless we are running the "oopty oop", that Miss Valley St averaged 40+ points a game with Jerry Rice, we won't see anything that hasn't been run before.

I tend to think this is the case as well. I'm kind of being sarcastic with him. I'm not expecting any real impactful changes on the offensive side.

I expect to see a real passing offense with specific routes run to stretch the field and crisp throwing this year. The first game might be a little more vanilla than Tulsa and beyond.
If I see too much TB ramming into teeth of a good defense repeatedly, there will be hell to pay.

BTW, it could be exactly like that to start. I think the Lions are fully aware of our lack of QB play the last couple of years and will dare us to throw early on. We may not be able to be as vanilla as you suggest as I think they are going to blitz often and early as well as do anything they have to eliminate our running game. Their defense returns a lot of guys as well as a lot of size so I don't think we are going to just push them around. I think we are going to have to pass the ball well to win much less with the margin we expect to .
