Thread: Louisiana LB Gardner

Wasn't Gardner arrested for identity theft? He must have been found innocent. That's the only way I could see him being reinstated.

According to an interview with Coach Napier which appeared in this morning's Daily Advertiser, Gardner is back on the team on a "probationary" basis. Apparently he never left school after being removed from the team last year. My conclusion is that if he stays out of trouble we will see him on the field next season.

3 months late on the reply ... evidently.

Our LB core went from being a liability to maybe a bright spot on this team .. If our new D linemen are as good as advertised we might have a pretty good front 7

I'm thinking the same thing. Who knows what type of product will be on the field next year? It's very intriguing!

Its got to be the HC fault...Right?

He gets the glory, he gets the blame. Again head coaches are responsible for who they recruit. Possibly he’s recruiting injury prone players, not making sure he gets the best trainers possible. Mike Loteif died on that hill.

That's a bit of stretch ,injuries are a part of sports and it's almost impossible to tell if a player is injury prone coming out of high school

    This is insane.

You may have a point. We are practicing on turf more than ever this year.
