I might have missed it, but I haven't seen it talked about yet. Brennan Breaux is transferring from LSU to UL.

I thought someone posted it on Ragin Pagin after Coach Danny Broussard tweeted it out last month, I could be wrong.

You heard it here 1st - STM Alums; Hogan Harris, O'Neal Lochridge, Grant Cox, and Brennan Breaux will be on the UL Baseball Roster next year

I know Lockridge can because he sat out with his back. I don't know if Brennan can, because he did play some this past season.

Agreed. It makes me cringe when I see these kids go to lsu. Don't get me wrong, I get it. Lsu is in talks for a national title every year. So I don't blame the kids. But man I hate seeing lafayette kids go elsewhere.

I'm really surprised that Brennan didn't come to UL as a freshman. He virtually grew up at The Tigue. He should be a welcomed addition to the team.

Coach suggestion and pressure is probably the determining factor here. STM has been known to be an LSU pipeline for a long time now.

I've talked to his dad a few times since he's been there. I think once it became clear that Duplantis would be the one getting most of the time out there, even though Brennan was better at the plate in the fall before their freshman years, it seemed like he was going to want more of an everyday role. Not to say who should have started, etc, because Duplantis is a very good player.

I got the feeling that he would end up here eventually. I think it was probably a good opportunity going there originally, but I know he's glad to be coming back to the program he's been around for so long.
