The Louisiana defensive coordinator’s coaching philosophy is seemingly everywhere around the Ragin’ Cajuns football complex. “SWARM” appears in all caps on the white boards in the team’s defensive meeting rooms, the term has become part of the vocabulary of the defensive players and the word is reverberated daily on the practice fields, usually coming from the man with a gravely-voice and shaved head who runs on the field alongside his players.
