An injury sustained by baseball-player-turned-football-player-too Jam Williams, plus injuries to two more Ragin' Cajun safeties, could cause a ripple-effect lineup shuffle that will impact UL's defense early in the fall football season.

This is bad news for Jam. He will be out a month plus. Even if it's not serious he needed the practice reps.
Tough break for Jam..
Hud has announced that Jam Williams will miss the season following a leg injury.

Yeah I saw him at the athletics complex in a leg brace on Friday. Covered mid thigh to below the knee and I believe he was on crutches.
Hud said today that his recovery is more like a 3 month time frame, not like an ACL, so he can likely still play baseball next year
That sucks
Was he expected to see action this year?
Hopefully he's healthy for the Spring.
Seems injury bug has hit our defence. Is Zyon still rehabbing or does he have a new injury.
