At least he acknowledges we have them even if we never throw to them.

YUp. Me too. A 200 pound running back up the middle 15 times then an ill advised throw to the middle of the field is my last memory.. A SLANT BY TE is what we want to see. Coach Hall, you reading this ????

I'll accept unsuccessful drives where we at least attempted to bring the TE into the passing attack. If we just run the ball over and over, with an occasional expectation that JD can hit an out route or a deep route, with very little opportunity to get into a passing groove and very little opportunity to create coverage doubt... I'm going to throw up on this football staff.

I'm thinking Hall wants to have a vibrant multifaceted attack. A lot will depend on an unproven O line.

Hud doesn't want to score fast. He wants eleven play drives that eat up clock. He's afraid his defense will continue to be a sieve. He believes in the bend don't break philosophy, except we break.

Where did you get that? Quite the opposite, on both points..

    Really? That line is unproven.

As for his reluctance to be in high scoring games? I'm just distilling what he's said in the past. Bad defense every year, multiple defensive coordinator to fix the problem, comments about needing to keep the scoring down to be in a position to steal the game with a late drive, or hold the lead.

Sure Hud'd like to win games 35/17, but knows his best chance for keeping teams to seventeen is to not give them time. Our defense isn't the Alabama of the SBC.

The Fr TE from MS is very talented. I was worried we were going to lose him after all the good news about the program this spring. Happy to see him here, probably because of Coach Hall....so there's a good chance he'll be featured in his new offense.

If Hall can turn this offense into something dynamic...I will personally fly him to Seattle with a seasons worth of film and hold Pete Carroll hostage until he fires Darrell Bevell and hires Hall. The news will spread that a random Cajun fan uses mafia style tactics to get NFL teams to hire them. We never go without a young talented OC again.
