    Could be the contractor is doing an install at another site and this is the earliest they can get here. See my earlier post. Two weeks give or take a few days is all it should take.

    Unless its a flood like last August, I don't think the weather is much of a factor with turf.

    Hurricanes are another matter.

    Nebraskas field has cork pellets. Supposedly it lowers field temp by 5+ degrees vs the recycled tire rubber pellets

    Just put cooling coils below the turf like they do in ice rink slabs. That would catch on and all the D1 schools will follow suit.

    Doesn't cork tend to float. All the little cork pellets heading for our giant sump pump. 😲😲😲

    Could it be we unveil new turf then new mascot before football season starts? Swamp themed turf and a gator as our mascot?

    I have heard from a very good source inside the athletic dept it will have a Louisiana themed pic look much like the basketball court but not exact same pic.
