Before they pull anything up they need to make sure they have everything referenced in to the stadium. That is the fifty yard line is in the center of the stadium and the center of the field lines up with the center of the goal posts. They also need to get reference points to get the field square. Once that is done they they are good to go.

The most important bit of turf to go down is the stip that is at the 50 yard line. It has to be in the center of the stadium and perpendicular to the center line of the goal posts. It doesn't sound lime much but if that is off then every other strip of turf will be off.

A turf contractor called to get me to stake out a football field AFTER he demolished EVERYTHING including control points. I was not happy.

All facilities are closed facilities now, somebody went run stadiums and injured themselves and sued the university. Will be difficult to get into any facility that isn't already unlocked for university use...and without permission you will be trespassing.

This is why we cant have nice things. What a POS

I got in to take that picture with no problem. I will be going to the stadium in a few minutes to see the progress. They have a scrimmage on the 12 and 19. If the field turf is not complete where will they scrimmage?
