    Branding, Branding, Branding.

    LOUISIANA in the end zones.

    LA at midfield.

Related topic - may be oil field related... but RCAF membership appears to be down... Looks like it's all updated in Account Manager... Used to be displayed as ranking of around 2200 members... Now, it is listed.... "____ of 1362." Hopefully they aren't done with the recalculation and some members aren't yet included, but my point totals look accurate at the moment.

I can hear Jay now... "Number 26 pushes it up the middle and gets hit near the inflamed anus! As the refs clear the pile, it looks like his knee came down just short of the inflamed anus. It looks close, but I think they'll need to bring in the chains and see if he reached the inflamed anus. The ref put his finger down just inside the inflamed anus. Yes, it looks like he just got his outstretched arm into the inflamed anus before his knee touched."

I think the inflamed anus is going to add color to Jay's job.

That is about 400 down from this time last year. Not surprising, as has been pointed out frequently.

Saw they started ripping up the old turf. I guess we won't have a construction cam for this project??

We all did, but my comment was to say what the reason for low season tickets was from. Look let's face it if we were winning 9-10 games a year with exciting football I would bet most people that dropped would go the extra mile to keep them. But being in the oilfield it's not coming back as quickly as most were saying.

Anyone have any pics to depict the project and it's part in history of Cajun Field?

Probably not. It won't last long.

Hopefully! Last thing we need is the turf project not complete for the 1st home game.

Oil slump is likely to continue to end of decade. Note this is a regional issue. The Gulf of Mexico basin simply cannot compete with the Permian Basin prospects of West Texas and New Mexico. Of course maintaining existing production will keep the base economy hanging on but new seismic, new wells, new platforms, and new pipelines is what is needed to really improve the economy. At this stage rig workovers are still being deferred. Workovers move a well from one zone to another for those of you outside the patch. Until those type projects start again, things will remain tough. This situation in my mind is the main thing impacting athletic ticket sales and fund raising at this time. Keep in mind a chunk of out tickets were corporate based. My company used to have almost 30 and that is zero now since we now have only a minimal presence in Lafayette.
