A different shade of green for the state of la as a watermark behind the ragin cajuns would look good. Wouldn't stand out too much but would add a nice accent.

While it's a great idea keeping consistent with the Louisiana and Ragin Cajuns markings on the field for branding purposes I believe the previous design would offer better longevity. Everyone is against using black but what they aren't realizing is the predominately red end zones are going to fade to pink within a few years and the field is going to look horrible. Especially should we get any nationally televised games.

And, being consistent with Louisiana, means the band needs to be called "The Pride of Louisiana" and NOT the Pride of Acadiana.

I'm in the oilfield and even though the industry is slow, it has nothing to do with me not renewing my season tickets.

It's definitely a combination of the oilfield, on field performance and off field distractions.

When personal and business dollars get tight, discretionary spending will be more scrutinized. It is what it is

Often times people try to boil some problem down to a singularity which is rarely true. You are correct that a poor local economy and a mediocre team do not lend themselves to investments being made in discretionary funds. I'm in the same boat as you. If this was 2014 I might still be on board but not today. Some things had to go and football was one of them.
