If HUD's succeeds with all the players that you said aren't very good then he will have once again made you lol like an idiot who doesn't know what he is talking about. If hud succeeds you lose more credibility...if he fails you pound your chest, I told y'all so.
Hark don't argue with T. He is about the least credible individual to ever have a radio show or web site in the history of media. Then when you question his credibility he plays the victim card and acts as if you are attacking him personally. It's not worth your time.

Having said that I respect your opinion but I too think hud has overstayed his welcome. Most of all because of the off field shenanigans sourounding his program and the fact that 7 years in, he is in the middle of the pack in the sunbelt at best and 4 and 5 years in he got skull drug by little old ltur in po dunk Ruston. I think this program can do better than hud.

Hey Dickey Bustle, I don't hide my identity. Anytime you want to man up and step out the shadows, let me know. Nothing like an internet weasel that pretends to be a big man anonymously.#NotLookingCredible

So saying we won't do something simply because we never did it before isn't a valid point. We had never been to back to back bowls..or 3...or 4. Hudspeth and his staffs have accomplished a lot of never befores here but that gets lost on people because of their disdain for the man.
This is the first place in this thread where you and/or T made it personal. You discount T's opinion with "disdain for the man". You got away from defending your point. I think you and T had valid points... regardless of your "love of Hud" or his "disdain for Hud". Both of those items in quotations are an attempt at invalidating opinions. It is a choice you made first. There's a natural divide on Coach Hud right now. There should be. If you have a hyper belief in Hud... despite evidence that "hyper" doesn't belong... then you should own up to it and not attack those that are not giant fans of Hud. Hud belongs IMO to the "you have earned some time to turn things around... but that clock is ticking" camp. T probably wishes the clock would run out. You probably don't think a timer should have started. He's a fan. You're a fan. Customers > Managers every day of the week. Fans > Coaches every day of the week.

Crap. I didn't realize there was a third political party forming under the Hud era. It's the "you are right and he is right... but you are wrong and he is wrong... but I am right" party. Party on.

You can't point anywhere that says I'm a hud defender or against him, do I hope my money is not a complete waste and I actually enjoy this football season? Yes...if that makes me a "hud lover" then so be it. I don't go to games to watch mark hudspeth succeed or fail..I go to watch the Cajuns hopefully win.

All I can "point to" is that while you and T were debating a specific point... you were the first to claim his point was clouded with "disdain for Hud". If you fail to stick to the support of your point... and use "you hate Hud" as one of your defenses... you place your own points in a cloud. I may not be correct that you are in the cloud of "Hud love". But you were the first to completely dismiss your own points... and attack the other person.

PS This isn't the first, nor the last, time true fans of a program that "want to win" are struggling with the head coach. There can be no going to our games to watch the Cajuns hopefully win... and not go to watch Mark Hudspeth succeed or fail. They are not mutually exclusive.

Having an issue with the head coach should not be conflated with "lack of love of program". It always comes up when there's an issue with a head coach... but I will fiercely slay the purveyors of that yarn. Fans that withdraw support of bad coaches are often crushed over that decision. But it is their actions that forces improvement in coaches. It is not the persistently obedient fans that generate pressure for improvement. But I still love all fans equally.

I dont care how anyone personally feels about the coach one way or the other, just like it shouldn't matter to anyone how I feel about the coach. Having optimism going into a season doesn't make me a hud lover, I'm just not miserable. His hate for hud is more than his love for the Cajuns...he would would rather see hud fail than see the Cajuns win. He would rather be right than see us win. It clearly bothers him that there might still be people out there supporting the man, if it didn't he wouldn't make it such a big deal all the time. He uses his former position to try to influence everyone to feel the same way he does about hud. Anytime you disagree with him you are instantly put into the "hud lover" category

We'd all rather Hud succeed out the job than fail out the job. IMO Hud is a coach who'll keep doing just enough to not get fired, only maybe not get renewed.

If I wouldn't keep you for a million I wouldn't keep you period. We've got two more seasons with Hud regardless of anything short of a disaster.

I don't know what T thinks about Hud, but he absolutely would like us to never lose regardless of coaches.

Again, you are stating something as fact without any proof. Nowhere did I every say that I hope Hud loses to get rid of him. I've never been a fan that hopes his program or team tanks to get rid of a coach. I would much rather see him find a way to get it done here and win a SBC championship for the program. I don't have to like a coach to hope my program wins. There is a difference in not believing he can turn the last two seasons around and hoping he loses. This is the second time in this thread you have presented your opinion of what I actually believe as FACT.

He sure doesn't act like it...or post like it I should say...still waiting on that mass team exodus from the big scandal announcement.
