Freshman Myers lifts Lady Cajuns to sweep

  Freshman shortstop Nerissa Myers is going to fit right in with the UL Ragin' Cajun softball program.

On a day when Myers belted her first career homer, drove in two runs and scored three times in a Ragin' Cajun doubleheader sweep of Bradley and Syracuse, the freshman from Petal, Miss. barely cracked a smile when talking about her day.

We are starting true freshmen at both 2nd base and shortshop. Both appear to have TREMENDOUS gloves, which should help to sure up a questionable defense from last year.
