    Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball signee Casey Dixon of Willis (Texas) High School was named the 2016-17 Gatorade Texas Softball Player of the Year, distinguishing her as the best high school softball player in Texas.

    Hitting will never been an issue with this team. At least I can't recall it being a problem (at least until the regionals this year *sigh*). As long as Coach can keep recruiting top pitchers, we will be contending for titles.

    .652 slugging percentage and a weighted 4.15 GPA to go with that 1.07 era.......

    Yeah I could do that..... ;-)

    Hitting can always be an issue. It was vs Auburn and Oklahoma in recent past. We need all three elements hitting, pitching, and defense. That's why we made firewood for the hitting facility to proceed.
