Hats off to LSU because they were the better team. I don't want to argue the HR too much more, but this is pretty clear that it was foul. The pics are in reverse order. The 2nd one shows it behind the foul pole curving around the foul side:

Huh??? The camera is in the left field stands. From that angle if the ball is hidden by the pole when it goes past, that means it went inside the foul pole and was a fair ball. You can tell that this is the leftfield foul pole because the mesh area in fair territory is on the right side of the pole.

Now I am totally confused. I took one frame out of order and now it looks foul. Oh well it is over.

You got to remember that the camera angle is not straight down the line. So the ball was inside the foul pole. The frame with the ball on the other side of the pole was after it emerged from behind the pole and was way past the foul pole.

Why argue, they lost 5 to damn 1. Not like they looked like they wanted to be out there either. Picked a bad day to decide not to show up.

Just an FYI, it was no doubt foul to everyone in the Park live except for 1 person. We were behind the UL dugout and it was pretty plain to us.

Yep, I do not think it was even close.

The ball was hit down the left field line. You have the foul pole and the screen webbing on the inside of the pole. the ball trajectory was on the outside of the pole (when it left the playing field) and hooked right and landed about three feet to the right of the pole. When the ball left the playing field it was foul. Fair when it hit the ground on the hill.......that's a foul ball anywhere except in tiger park.
