I just put on statbroadcast. Guess I could listen to ULM broadcast, not paying any university that fights our name. ULM wussed out going RC instead of Louisiana.
My question is to anyone watching, is Hogan that on or ULM laying down? Or both?
Jay is simply wrong on this one. It is ok ... nobody is perfect. But to say that scheduling a D2 school (which I suggested as one of many alternatives) was not an option because Robichaux has never done this ... but might consider it in the future???
What? This makes no sense.
Just because you have not done it in the past ... it is not an option? Really? But does become an option for next time?
Look ... I am of the belief that there is always a way. Enough with the excuses. If we simply make excuses and not try to learn from the mistakes, the situation will not improve. What is wrong with ...
1) Pointing out the mistakes
2) And then providing real options that could have been executed ... and then improve the approach
Instead of the defeatist excuse offering attitude, find a way. I am sure that Robichaux would agree with that. I would never be where I am in my position/career if I carried myself with that mentality. And such an attitude is contrary to what Robichaux teaches.

The most annoying point about his whole argument was that if the selection committee leaves us out, it's not because we scheduled Saint Peter's. Yeah, Jay, so a top 35 RPI and solid W/L vs the top 25, etc would have had us on the outside?? Even with the 4th place finish, I believe we would have a good enough resume assuming we didn't go 0-2 at conf tourney. That series crippled the RPI, and despite that not being the only selection criteria, it's a big one that could have been a positive
And saying scheduling St. Peters could not possibly even be contributing factor if the Cajuns don't get an at large bid, before final RPI's are in. Yacking about how insignificant RPI is in the bid process. Yikes.
Every day I am more convinced media thinks their average consumer is not sophisticated enough to detect BS, unless we are up to their hips in it. I doubt he even believes any of that malarkey.
Plate ump drops with heat stroke. Yikes!
Score? Been listening to Jay for 30 mins and haven't heard
5-0 Cajuns.
