I am always glad when we win, but get no special thrill from beating ULM or McNeese. I don't get why so many of our fans my age do. We left them behind long ago.

The reason to get a thrill beyond being happy for all wins is it is we once again prove we're better than the local P5 favorite. Beating McLeast is a thrill of relief. But this McLeast team is actually PDG so there's that aspect. We don't to let the turtle catch us napping.

Can anyone remember the exact time or near it when the game ended between lswho and UL last night. The game between Fairchild and McNeese started at 9:07, so I am curious to know how long it took the lswho crew to get the field ready for play....was it a delay so as not to play the third game. In the stats it has our game at 2:01 hours to play starting at 12 noon. They don't have the restart time.....

On congress, in front of Bayou Shadows apt complex. It has an interior that is a time capsule for late 70's decor.
When I moved to NOLA in the 90's I really missed BJ's. When I moved back from Nola in 2003 I really missed cafe Roma, and the Italian Pie in da parish. In fact IP tried a location here but it was not successful......prob because my house was outside its delivery radius. ;-)

You should try Cafe Romacelli in River Ranch. I think it is the people of Cafe Roma who came here after Katrina...
