Louisiana To Compete In Inaugural Cayman Islands Classic

Global Sports Management, in conjunction with Caymax Sports Ltd., has announced that Buffalo, Louisiana, Richmond and South Dakota State will round out the eight-team field for the inaugural Cayman Islands Classic college basketball tournament that will be held Nov. 20-22, 2017.

Hate to beat the drum, other than KATC (actually Matt Sullivan/UL) google around @ the tournament. I see that much ballyhooed "oh, the new AD and Alden is gonna fix the name issue by next season" isn't happening. That's a 2017-18 tournament. Who is dropping the ball now? Just as with Farmer, I'm sure someone from the university is reading this. Fix it.

I used to enjoy the Cayman Islands back in the 80s and 90s. Grand Cayman has become very crowded since then, the traffic is really a mess, especially on the days when the cruise ships do the drop and shop. The water is still beautiful though. Should be a nice trip.
