Not on the team
, but on the seating selection committee.
Some have been called and seated, but not I as of yet. Still waiting for the call. All my post are for me vetting my thoughts on the subject and not for any of you. So don't condemn the message and hopefully the messenger for trying to get seated.
Well I just got an answer to my e-mail to Matt. Not very good to say the least. The seats that was requested on row 17 section 108 was assigned to some players families I was told. There want be any K's in the future. You can read how he said the K's could be put up. Leave my seat, barge through the fans on row 17.....yea, great plan. Here it is......
With the seating changes in the new stadium we tried to do our best to place
our season ticket holders in a comparable location to where they sat in the
old stadium. "I do not think based on your new location that you and Justin
will no longer be able to hang K's. As in many stadiums he may have to make
a trip to the rail to hang it but I do not see this tradition going away". I
cannot recall off the top of my head who was assigned to the seats you would
prefer but we did try our best to keep everyone in a comparable location. I
am fully aware that we are unable to accommodate everyone exactly where they
wanted to be. It was never anyone's intent to take away from any part of the
atmosphere. If anything, with these changes to the stadium, we have seen a
brand new life at our games. You have every possibility of switching your
seats with the owner if the seats you would like by having a conversation
with them. The placing of fans in a comparable location is not an easy task
but we have tried our best. During the reseating that will take place over
the summer, you will have an opportunity to move if you like. If the person
assigned to the seats you were looking for changes location, during your
appointment time you could do the same.
M. Casbon
seems pretty diplomatic
Sorry to hear it, Frenchie.
I know a lot of people do not agree with me but I think an exception should have been made for the 13 of the 800+ seats in the grandstand. These guys have been sitting in those same seats for longer than some of us have been alive. I think they earned the exception.
