First time in a while Robe sounded confident on postgame. Pushed all the right buttons tonight. Guillory pitched very well minus the last batter or two. Marks was crazy good. Huvall was good. And D-mo looked like the old D-mo.

South Alabama kept chipping away on Tuesday night at LSU's lead and finally broke through. The Tigers dropped their midweek game to the Jaguars, 7-6, before facing Auburn on Thursday.

BTW: as expected, one of them posted on the mutt board that he was 'not impressed' with the new Tigue. 'Just another ballpark,' he feels. Their jealously is palpable.
I saw first hand last night how many of them were impressed as they looked around at everything...not just at the stadium but the atmosphere in general. Especially with the 7th inning stretch. And although the crowd really got into it at the end, as previously noted our attendance was terrible compared to earlier in the season....so they only got a taste of what it usually is.

Impression comprehension......talked to some T fans after, and yes, one said they were impressed last year but now.......yes they were Very impressed...one asked about enrollment and their body language gave away their surprise that it was 20k....however it kinda confirmed why we had such a great facility!!!

Maybe one day they will have as nice a stadium as we have. I mean, of course, a stadium as nice as our softball stadium lol.
But even that is highly doubtful.

Also, I overheard/saw a conversation between two mutt fans...a man & woman in their 40's, I would guess....where she kind of gestured towards Bertrand and said something to the effect that having such a 'busy road in view was distracting.'
