How about at one or two games dedicate part of the 50/50 raffle for a nice plaque? I'm not saying the baseball team would sacrifice their half, make an announcement ahead of time letting everyone know that X amount of $ is needed to pay for the plaque and until that amount is raised the 50/50 raffle would be split 50/25/25 with 50% going to the team, 25% going to the winner & 25% going to the plaque!

Frenchie has the right idea. But taking money from other things is not the way to honor the man. Mr Vic worked his ___ off and would not want you taking money from the baseball program or from other people. Those that want to give give, those that don't don't. I will give but not at the expense of the baseball team.

You are the only one who ensuated anything about taking money from the program. These things are always separate efforts of individuals at schools with our budget. Just like the other statue we have honoring someone.
