    No offense, but who is going to pay for this bronze statue? They are not cheap and we still have to pay for a stadium, club house and coach's office.

    The people that want to, the black jack statue funding was spearheaded by a group of people who wanted to. A memorial golf tourney in Mr. Vic's name would probably do it.

    Great, I just don't want our coaches taking on another project right now.

    I doubt that's even on their radar... but it is something that I would think wouldn't be too
    hard to do, baseball already has a golf tourney they could start there.

    I think a plaque on the permanent dedicated peanut booth would be more appropriate. JMO

    Which is already used to fund the baseball program. These funds for the statute would have to be in addition to what is already raised.

    Yeah like sell raffle tickets dedicated to that special ificalky ...don't worry I doubt the clubhouse and stadium completion would fall a bronze statue short of getting done.
