I don't think they are me guys either. I just think it's morale or personalities, something went wrong after that nice winning streak.🤔

No garter belt, and give me a another season where we make the CWS to go with the one championship, and you've got a deal.

As supporters, is all we can do is stay behind this and push for a brighter day. These kids are really great, the leaders need to step up and lead. Hey guys, we got you six😠👍
Basketball won more games than expected but did slump some in conference play. Prior to being eliminated they had bounced back to win 7 straight. However, even during their slump there were no indications of chemistry issues or people not putting out effort. Neither chemistry nor leadership was a factor in their season. They simply were not good enough to advance further, especially when our senior leader played his final game with an injury. I am beginning to think baseball may have a similar problem. Clubhouse issues may not be as big a factor as we think while we likely overrated the talent on the team at the beginning of the year.

I hope you are right. I don't see any reason we can't upgrade our talent - and I think the new stadium only helps that. Our pitchers will be hard to replace, though. You don't go out and find a Gunner, Marks, or D-MO very easily. I would be thrilled if 2 of those 3 make it back for another go 'round next year. But - I think we need a fresh approach at the plate - and that means new leadership in the hitting coach position (i.e. Talbot). Just my $.02.

Robe as much as referenced locker room issues at his presser yesterday. Hopefully, nothing more than boom box beefin'.

I hate to be the one to break it to you. Drafted juniors always leave here. Who knows if they want to go, or not, but I'm guessing they do. I know D Mo is a stud in the class room and pre-law. So, maybe....

I know all about the leverage aspect but I sometimes wonder if the "one-time" money gain isn't offset in the long run from simply not being as ready as they could be?

Just musing, and yes I agree "Drafted juniors always leave here"

The pro argument is "When do you want to start learning how to play pro ball, now, or later when you are older and have an expiration date of 30 years of age?", or "Which is better $100,000 as a junior, or $10,000 in a year? You really think your senior year is worth $90,000, when we will pay your last year's tuition if for some strange reason you flop and are not the 10 year major leaguer we think you are?"

    That's why they all sign.

I went back 15 years and could not find a junior that did not sign. Danny Farquhar (doing well) was a 10th rounder in 2008, but haven't seen another one that low make it to MLB long enough to lose their luggage. It is usually the wrong move, unless you are top 3 or 4 rounds, but what do I know......
