Thread: Baseball Problems?

  1. #1

    Default Baseball Problems?

It sure seems like there are some issues going on in the clubhouse. Example when Sensley loped to the lazy fly ball yesterday letting the runner get a dbl instead just a single. Result, Robe pulled him.

Now today, another example is the lack of concentration at the plate, AND -- I cannot remember the last time both D-Mo & Wyatt gave up so many homers and base hits. Neither one had their stuff.

Now maybe it's coincidence, but how does the offense & the defense both go into slumps at the same time? But hopefully we get this straightened out, FAST!!,,,

I mentioned in last nights game thread that something smelled rotten in Denmark post game. Hope I'm wrong.

Robe mentioned they are "buying in now" when we were on that streak. I doubt marks and demo are "me" guys. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

I have a feeling robe is gonna boot the problem off after this season. Robe is not dumb. His speeches about men and underwear models were too frequent

This guy has established so much credibility over the years as baseball coach that I have complete faith in him.

Personally, I learned a lot about "pro" ball the last few years. The brutal truth is it ain't pretty for the vast majority of guys. So hopefully, "getting drafted" won't be so attractive in and of itself

Lucroy posted after turned pro, he was riding a bus cross Wyoming at 3 AM on the way to another dumpy short season game, thinking "How did I get myself in this nightmare?"

Even the prospects don't like minor leagues, but yet every Jr. here goes.

Yep.... This season has not turned out like we all had hoped. I am still the glass is full type of guy and am waiting on a post season run...Probably wishful thinking but thats where I am.. But one thing I am POSITIVE about is we have the best leader of boys to me in the country and I'd not trade that for 10 CWS

Ok... while we're horse trading... I'll trade in for one UL CWS and let Robe go off the rail one time. He can show up drunk at practice, with nothing but lipstick, high heels and a garter belt... swearing at the top of his lungs... in front of "the boys"... one time. I'll take that CWS trophy and we'll all sit down with Robe and work out that one little transgression. As long as we're horse trading...

This seems like de ja vu, with the football clubhouse, & the b-ball team. I just cannot believe just a few years back we had all our sports in & winning tournaments, bowls, championships. Where the heck did most of the wheels come off. Softball, golf, tennis, girl b-ball, are stil competitive.

As supporters, is all we can do is stay behind this and push for a brighter day. These kids are really great, the leaders need to step up and lead. Hey guys, we got you six😠👍
