Hunter Moody was pretty damn impressive with his control without the high end velocity. Leger reminds me a lot of Moody. Extremely successful college pitchers who's skill sets doesn't translate to the MLB.

You are right. He does operate like Hunter. Gunner might have more velocity. Hunter was just as crafty. Gunner was high 80's in high school. Maybe a little better now. We'll see what MLB thinks in June.

Edit: Scouting report from Cape All Star game last August had Gunner 90-93 with 3 MLB averege pitch potential. Projected top 100 pick. His smooth, easy delivery makes his velocity sneaky.

I have seen him in several different ballparks touching 89 several times and throwing 87-89.

Greg Maddux lived in the mid 80's. And he's one of the best pitchers to ever step on the mound. Location and a sick changeup made his career.
