Three companies gave proposals on trying to land the contract with the Police Jury on implementing the Recovery Program.
The Police Jury will be receiving $8 million from the Federal Government to help homeowners elevate their homes that were flooded by Hurricane Ike.
The Police Jury does not have the manpower to oversee the distribution of the funds, so it wants to hire a company that is knowledgeable in the process.
A handful of companies applied for the job, and the Police Jury narrowed the list to three companies.
