We are 20-4-1, according to the Advertiser.
I am getting tired of seeing our hitters plunked for simply hitting home runs. That is so bush league. A state pitcher Collin Cahill is a punk for plunking Sensley after dropping his 1st bomb. What a moron.
If Sensley is going to hit bombs, we are going to win games.
Btw, I would love to see this team involved in a bench clearing situation. Had it been Pinny, we may have seen some fireworks.
And Sensley last night is the Sensley we need. Not just the home runs, but taking the walks a slugger is gifted because teams are scared to pitch anything in the zone. He was selective and it paid off.
Sensley had a monster game last night! In all seriousness I think Brad Antchak may be the straw that stirs the drink for this team. He seems to be a quiet leader and when he is on we play so much better.
It shows you how much of a gap we had in the lineup with a shortstop who couldn't hit. Kasuls was almost always an automatic out, especially critical situations and Antchak had a stretch where he was probably better off going and handing the opposing first baseman the ball if he wasn't striking out or hitting lazy fly balls. Now that Brad has turned it on, this team is getting more consultant up and down the order. Antchak needs to keep going because we're better when he's better.
