Sweet! Only bad thing is High School Football on Friday night. Maybe the local High Schools could move their games up? I am there though. Hopefully we can draw a big crowd.

HS football will take away about 1,500-2,000 people that is my guess....I'll be there!

Tailgating is another bad thing. A lot of people, including myself, have a wonderful time tailgating and due to it being on Friday, this will hinder things a bit, with not everybody having the luxury of taking off of work.

I completely agree! If we can't draw a huge crowd for a BCS school from the Big 12 at our house on nationally televized ESPN 2, then that is really sad and pathetic. Doesn't matter what the weather is like that day or if it is friday night football. Seriously, if we have to worry about competing with HIGH SCHOOL games for our attendance numbers then we might as well give up on D1. Ca'mon we'll be the only college game on friday, our admin better get the word out, they probably should start now!

I know I won't be there, but I won't make any games this year with the exception of maybe the Troy game. But I don't care if we have 15,000 people at the game as long as we win against OSU on NATIONAL TV. That would do more for our program than having huge attendance.

Hey I'm not talking about you are the majorty of this board, because I know that this board is the true diehard fanbase, I'm talking more about the rest of lafayette in general. I mean we have had our biggest crowds for d1aa teams, why on earth are they not there for the K-state and osu games? Thats what I'm hitting at. But yes I do agree that winning the game at hand is most important, but wouldn't winning the game with an overflow crowd on tv be even better?
