But I do like Brian's idea where you have one close Friday, another close Saturday and the first closer back on Sunday with a day of rest.

This team will bounce back today. I can't say that they will definitely win because this is a good opponent on the road, but we will show fight
Both teams' offenses started heating up yesterday. I wonder if that will continue today. I think the key for Hogan is no free passes. I would typically say get ahead of hitters but he just doesn't do that. He has no problem so far getting in a three ball count then striking the batter out.
Lott is at DH today.
We're gunna find out a lot about our young lefty today as well.
I have no problem with DMo closing. Ever. I have a problem with the way our All American closer pitched in the last inning of maybe the most important game of the season.
I went back and watched that last inning. No doubt that the game changed on the strike-out that ended up on first. Should have been 2 outs with only the tying run on 2nd. Big difference between that and what was runners on the corners with one out. That is where D-MO lost his edge. Monica usually handles that 3rd strike - it was high and outside to the lefty.
But - regardless - flush it and move on...
If anyone cares to go back and look at any inning where multiple runs were given up, you will see that walks and/or hit batsman were involved. Our team batting against is in the low .200's.
My only concern is Dylan has almost a 6 ERA this year because he's struggling off speed and this is a fastball hitting team. Wyatt dominated them in his two appearances. I don't care about Sunday on Saturday. We needed to first win Saturday, and if we lose Sunday I don't care until Sunday.
