Go to the beginning of this thread and essentially there are no comments telling MAT he is crazy for such thinking. Even though i think that travel plays a larger role in sports like football and basketball where speed and athleticism are most important and also most affected by long travel, the idea was that people are so more accommodating to the baseball programs that they are willing to overlook such "excuse making" by the coaches etc.. You chimed in noting as such which was a little ironic since you downplayed the entire travel effect anyhow.

Now, you are spinning that they were a veteran basketball team versus a soft baseball team and bus travel is now different from plane travel, all things you debunked earlier. That's spin.
Go back and read if you would like, only thing spinning is what you think i said. Flying is different from riding..flying actually affects your body...like i said earlier. Never downplayed it at all. Good tough teams don’t let I️t effect them, mediocre soft teams do. Ever notice to be really good you have to win on the road? Medicines teams who finish around .500 mainly win at home? Nothing I said was untrue.

Nonsense. Several people here have disagreed with me over the years, and as long has they have a reasonable point, I have no issue with that. I'm all about intelligent discourse.

But if you're an idiot, who's sole purpose on this board is to read my writings and make dumbass remarks, than yes, your above post is accurate. As in your case, I have no respect for your opinions, hence my responses.

    Cheers.

I went ahead and fixed this for you.

    Cheers

Oh so you see you didn't stipulate in your original argument which mode of travel had an affect on play. I get it now.

Not on play, flying actually has a proven physical affect on your body like dehydration, bloating and gas, blood gathering in your legs etc.

At about the 11 minute mark Robe mentions overcoming obstacles in the first half of the season and how they have been a second half team.

    Agreed.

Along with other players, he mentions Gunner being taken off the field in his comment about first half obstacles.

Did Gunner touch the field this year?
